7th May 2013: what to wear

Nothing could happen to him except

to appear clothed in the illusion



of unavoidable success.

  1. The text is from Thomas Pynchon's "Slow Learner." He says in the introduction that he's a slow learner, and then you read the stories he wrote when he was twenty and realise either he is lying or he has an enormous amount of unlearned knowledge, say, talent, or something.
